More information: Received as Trichothecium sympodiale DAOMC 209012 on May 2022, but reidentified as T. ovalisporum based on ITS-LSU seq (G. Okada, May 2022); This strain is same to T. ovalisporum JCM 10014 [received as Spicellum roseum (= T. sympodiale) DAOM 209012 on Dec 1996], and not ex-type of T. sympodiale (G. Okada, May 2022).
