Adjust pH to 7.0 with 1 M Na₂CO₃ or 1 M H₂SO₄. Mix ingredients, except NaHCO₃, Na₂S·9H₂O, seven vitamins solution, acetate solution, succinate solution and yeast extract solution, and autoclave under a N₂-CO₂ (80:20, v/v) atmosphere. Separately autoclave acetate solution, succinate solution and yeast extract solution. Filter-sterilize NaHCO₃, Na₂S·9H2O. Aseptically and anaerobically add NaHCO₃, Na₂S·9H₂O, seven vitamins solution, acetate solution, succinate solution and yeast extract solution to the medium.
