1458 ABBS1 MEDIUM

Mix components and autoclave. After cooling, aseptically and anaerobically add per liter the following solutions (autoclaved or *filter-sterilized):

1M NaHCO₃ solution*	`30.0`	ml
100 mM NH₄Cl solution	`10.0`	ml
100 mM Na₂HPO₄ solution	`10.0`	ml
SL-7 trace element solution (see Medium No. 536)	`1.0`	ml
Vitamin solution* (see Medium No. 1298)	`0.42`	ml
300 mM Na₂S₂O₃ solution	`10.0`	ml
500 mM MnO₂ solution	`10.0`	ml

Adjust pH to 7.5 by bubbling with a N₂-CO₂ (4:1, v/v) gas mixture.
