Resazurin	`1.0`	mg
Distilled water	`1.0`	L

Mix components thoroughly and adjust pH to 6.0. Distribute the medium into culture vessels (e.g., 20 ml medium in 60 ml serum bottles) under a N₂-CO₂ (80:20, v/v) gas mixture, seal with butyl rubber stoppers and autoclave. Replace the gas phase with H₂- CO₂ (70:30, v/v, 50 KPa overpressured). Aseptically and anaerobically add per liter the following solutions (autoclaved or filter-sterilized):

Readjust pH to 6.0-6.2 if necessary.
