Mix components thoroughly and adjust pH to 4.5. Distribute the medium into culture vessels (e.g., 20 ml medium in 60 ml serum bottles), seal with butyl rubber stoppers and autoclave. Replace the gas phase with O2-CO2 (10:90, v/v, 50 KPa overpressured), and add per liter the following solution (autoclaved and stored under a N2 gas atmosphere):
