NaHCO₃	`25.0`	g
K₂HPO₄	`1.0`	g

Add components to distilled water and bring volume to 1.0 L. Adjust pH to 9.5 with HCl and autoclave. After cooling, aseptically add per liter the following solutions (autoclaved or *filter-sterilized):

1 M MgCl₂ solution	`1.0`	ml
Trace element solution (see Medium No. 1079)	`1.0`	ml
Trace vitamins* (see Medium No. 197)	`1.0`	ml
10% Tryptone solution	`15.0`	ml
1% Yeast extract solution	`2.0`	ml
