KH2PO4 | 0.225 | g |
K2HPO4 | 0.255 | g |
(NH4)2SO4 | 0.255 | g |
NaCl | 0.5 | g |
MgSO4·7H2O | 0.1 | g |
CaCl2·2H2O | 0.07 | g |
Sodium acetate·3H2O | 5.0 | g |
Trace vitamins (see Medium No. 197) | 10.0 | ml |
Trace minerals solution (see below) | 10.0 | ml |
Resazurin | 1.0 | mg |
Distilled water | 1.0 | L |
Mix components thoroughly. Bring to a boil for seconds, cool down under a N2-CO2 (4:1, v/v) gas mixture and add the following components to the medium:
NaHCO3 | 6.0 | g |
L-Cysteine·HCl·H2O | 0.5 | g |
Seal with butyl rubber stoppers and autoclave. After inoculation, pressurize the inoculated bottles to 200 kPa with a N2-CO2 (4:1, v/v) gas mixture.
