More information: Taphrina flavorubra is closely related to T. mirabilis and T. communis based on the phylogenetic analysis using ITS sequences. Sequence identities in the D1D2 region of LSU rRNA gene are 571/573 to Taphrina flavorubra NRRL Y-17795 (AF492040) and 573/573 to Taphrina mirabilis CBS 357.35 (NG_070568), respectively.
