| Resazurin | 0.5 | mg |
| Distilled water | 900.0 | ml |
Mix components and adjust pH to 7.0. Distribute the medium into tubes or bottles under a N2-CO2 (4:1, v/v) gas mixture, seal with butyl rubber stoppers, and autoclave. After cooling, add per liter (final) the following solutions from sterile anaerobic stocks (autoclaved or *filter-sterilized):

Readjust pH of the medium to 7.0, if necessary.
Substrate solution:

| Distilled water | 100.0 | ml |
