721 THIOALBUS DENITRIFICANS MEDIUM

| CaCl2·2H2O | 0.1 | g |
| NH4Cl | 0.2 | g |
| KH2PO4 | 1.0 | g |
| KCl | 0.5 | g |
| Yeast extract | 0.1 | g |
| Distilled water | 1.0 | L |
Mix components and adjust pH to 7.5. Dispense the medium into culture vessels, purge with N2 for 5 min, seal with butyl rubber stoppers and autoclave. After cooling, add per liter the following solutions (filter-sterilized and stored anaerobically):

| 8% NaHCO3 solution | 5.0 | ml |
| 1 M NaNO3 solution | 5.0 | ml |
