Solution A:

| Trace minerals (see Medium No. 151) | 10.0 | ml |
| L-Cysteine·HCl·H2O | 0.5 | g |
| Resazurin | 1.0 | mg |
| Distilled water | 900.0 | ml |
Solution B:
| MgCl2·6H2O | 0.2 | g |
| CaCl2·2H2O | 0.1 | g |
| Distilled water | 50.0 | ml |
Separately autoclave Solutions A and B under a N2-CO2 (4:1, v/v) gas mixture. After cooling, combine both solutions under the same gas mixture and add the following solutions from sterile anaerobic stocks (autoclaved or *filter-sterilized):

Check the final pH of the medium to be 7.0.
