Unless otherwise stated, sterilize media by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 min.
1253 SALICIBIBACTER MEDIUM

| KCl | 1.0 | g |
| NH4Cl | 1.0 | g |
| MgSO4·7H2O | 0.24 | g |
| CaSO4·2H2O | 0.17 | g |
| Trace element solution (see Medium No. 167) | 1.0 | ml |
| NaCl | 140.0 | g |
| Sodium glutamate | 1.0 | g |
| Yeast extract (BD-Difco) | 5.0 | g |
| Casamino acids (BD-Difco) | 5.0 | g |
| Agar | 20.0 | g |
Add components to distilled water and bring volume to 1 L. Adjust pH to 6.5 and autoclave. Aseptically add the following solution (autoclaved) to the medium:
| 10% (w/v) Na2CO3 solution | 5.0 | ml |
Check final pH of the medium to be 7.5-8.0.
