| NH4Cl | 1.0 | g |
| CaSO4·7H2O | 12.5 | mg |
| Yeast extract | 0.1 | g |
| Trace vitamins (see Medium No. 197) | 2.0 | ml |
| Trace minerals solution (see Medium No. 228) | 1.0 | ml |
| Distilled water | 1.0 | L |
Mix components thoroughly, adjust pH to 7.4 and autoclave. After cooling, add the following solution (autoclaved):
| 1 M Glucose solution | 20.0 | ml |
