| Resazurin | 1.0 | mg |
| Arginine | 2.11 | g |
| Histidine | 1.55 | g |
| Phytone peptone (BD-BBL) | 2.0 | g |
| Na2CO3 | 4.0 | g |
| L-Cysteine·HCl·H2O | 0.5 | g |
Dissolve components except Na2CO3 and L-cysteine·HCl·H2O in distilled water and bring volume to 1.0 L. Adjust pH to 7.0. Bring to a boil and cool down under a stream of a N2-CO2 (4:1, v/v) gas mixture. Add Na2CO3 and L-cysteine·HCl·H2O to the medium and dispense into culture vessels under the same gas mixture. Seal with butyl rubber stoppers and autoclave.
