571 ALKALINE TRYPTONE-YEAST EXTRACT MEDIUM
Solution A:
| Tryptone (BD-Difco) | 1.0 | g |
| Yeast extract (BD-Difco) | 5.0 | g |
| NaCl | 10.0 | g |
| MgSO4·7H2O | 0.2 | g |
| K2HPO4 | 0.2 | g |
| Distilled water | 800.0 | ml |
Mix components, adjust pH to 9.0 and autoclave.
Solution B:
| NaHCO3 | 10.0 | g |
| Distilled water | 200.0 | ml |
Mix components and filter-sterilize. Combine Solutions A and B aseptically and readjust pH to 9.0, if necessary.
