547 DESULFOTOMACULUM PBE MEDIUM
Solution A:
| Peptone | 2.0 | g |
| Beef extract | 1.0 | g |
| MgSO4·7H2O | 2.0 | g |
| Na2SO4 | 1.5 | g |
| CaCl2 | 0.1 | g |
| Distilled water | 900.0 | ml |
Mix components and autoclave under a N2 gas atmosphere.
To complete the medium, aseptically and anaerobically add the following solutions to the medium:
| 5% K2HPO4 solution (autoclaved) | 10.0 | ml |
| 5% Sodium lactate (autoclaved) | 70.0 | ml |
| 4% Fe(NH4)2(SO4)2·6H2O solution (filter-sterilized) | 10.0 | ml |
| 1% Sodium ascorbate solution (filter-sterilized) | 10.0 | ml] |
