Unless otherwise stated, sterilize media by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 min.

| Yeast extract (BD-Difco) | 0.5 | g |
| L-Cysteine·HCl·H2O | 1.0 | g |
| Agar | 15.0 | g |
| Distilled water | 800.0 | ml |
| Fetal bovine serum | 200.0 | ml |
Dissolve peptone, yeast extract and cysteine in 800 ml of distilled water. Adjust pH to 6.5 with NaOH. Add agar and dissolve by heating. After autoclaving, cool to 45C and add serum.
