Unless otherwise stated, sterilize media by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 min.

| Distilled water | 900.0 | ml |
After autoclaving, aseptically add 100 ml of a sterile 10% Na2CO3 solution to the medium. Check final pH to be about 10.0.
