110 ALKALINE CELLULOSE AGAR
Solution A:
| Cellulose powder MN 300 (Macherey-Nagel Co.) | 15.0 | g |
| NH4NO3 | 2.0 | g |
| K2HPO4 | 1.0 | g |
| MgSO4·7H2O | 0.4 | g |
| CaCl2 | 0.4 | g |
| Peptone | 1.0 | g |
| Yeast extract | 0.5 | g |
| Agar | 15.0 | g |
| Distilled water | 900.0 | ml |
Adjust pH to 7.0 with 1 N HCl.
Solution B:
| Na2CO3 | 6.0 | g |
| Distilled water | 100.0 | ml |
Adjust pH to 9.4 with 6% NaHCO3 solution.
After sterilization, mix axenically 900 ml of Solution A and 100 ml of Solution B.
