| Agar | 15.0 | g |
| Tap water | 750.0 | ml |
Adjust pH to 7.0.
Soil extract:
Suspend 400 g of air-dried garden soil in 1.0 L of tap water and autoclave at 121C for 1 hr. Use the clear supernatant after sedimentation for a few hours and centrifugation.
