440 TB2 MEDIUM
Use Medium No. 371 supplemented with 30.0 g/L (final) NaCl. Prior to inoculation, add an additional 3% Na2S·9H2O solution (neutralized, autoclaved and stored under a N2 atmosphere, 4 ml per liter of the medium) to the medium. Pressurize the inoculated bottles to 200 kPa H2-CO2 (4:1, v/v) gas mixture.
